Product bundles and offers

Create quantity breaks, BOGO deals, complete-the-bundle offers, and more to increase average order value.

Bundles let you offer special pricing or deal structures when customers buy certain quantities or combinations of products. All bundle configuration is accessible by clicking the Bundles button on the Products page.

Bundle types

When creating a bundle you choose one of four types:

  • Quantity breaks for the same product: Tiers of discounts that apply when a customer buys increasing quantities of the same product.
  • Buy X, get Y free (BOGO) deal: The customer buys a set number of units and receives additional free units alongside.
  • Quantity breaks for different products: Each tier features a different product. One product is assigned per tier slot, in the same order as your tiers.
  • Complete the bundle: A main product is shown alongside complementary products as a curated bundle offer.

Core fields (all bundle types)

  • Bundle name: Required. An internal label visible only in your admin panel. Maximum 80 characters.
  • Discount name: Required. The label shown to customers in the cart and at checkout (for example, "3-for-2 deal"). Maximum 80 characters.
  • Block title: Required. The heading displayed above the bundle selector on the product page. Maximum 80 characters.
  • Markets: Required. Select one or more markets where this bundle is available. The bundle is shown only to customers browsing the selected markets.
  • Visibility: Controls which product pages display this bundle:
    • All products: The bundle appears on every product page in the store.
    • All except: The bundle appears on all product pages except those you specifically exclude. Requires selecting at least one product to exclude.
    • Specific products: The bundle appears only on the product pages you specifically select. Requires at least one product.
    • Specific collections: The bundle appears on product pages belonging to the collections you choose. Requires at least one collection.
  • Start date: Required. The date and time (in your store's timezone) when the bundle becomes active.
  • End date: Optional. The date and time when the bundle expires. Must be after the start date. Leave empty for no expiry.
  • Active toggle: Activate or deactivate the bundle without deleting it. Inactive bundles do not appear on the storefront.
  • Show in cart drawer: When turned on, this bundle surfaces as a cross-sell recommendation inside the cart drawer. Default: off.

Tier configuration

Every bundle has at least one tier. Maximum 10 tiers per bundle. Each tier row contains:

  • Paid quantity: Required. A whole number from 1 to 999. The number of units the customer must buy to qualify for this tier.
  • Free quantity: Optional. A whole number from 0 to 999. The number of free units added alongside (used for BOGO-type bundles). Defaults to 0.
  • Discount type: Required. Choose one of:
    • Percent: A percentage off. Value must be between 0 and 100.
    • Fixed amount: A fixed currency amount off. Value must be 0 or above.
    • Free: The qualifying items are free. No discount value is needed.
  • Discount value: The numeric discount amount. Cannot be negative. For Percent, maximum is 100. For Free, this field is ignored.
  • Most popular: Optional. Highlight one tier with a "most popular" badge. Only one tier per bundle can be flagged.
  • Free gift product: Optional. A product from your store given as a free gift with this tier.

Type-specific fields

Complete the bundle

  • Main product: Required. The anchor product shown as the primary item in the bundle. Must belong to your store.
  • Complementary products: Required. At least one additional product shown alongside the main product. Each must belong to your store.

Quantity breaks for different products

  • Tier slot products: Required. One product per tier, in the same order as your tiers. The number of products must match the number of tier rows exactly. Each product must belong to your store.

Display options

  • Let customers pick variants: When turned on, customers can swap the variant selection for each item in the bundle picker.
  • Hide theme variant picker: When turned on, the standard variant picker is hidden when this bundle is displayed, so only the bundle's own variant selector is shown.
  • Show color swatches: When turned on, color swatches are shown inside the bundle picker for color-type variants.

Managing bundles

The Bundles panel (click Bundles on the Products page) shows all your bundles in a table with name, type, markets, and status. Click a bundle row to edit it. You can select multiple bundles and delete them via the bulk-action menu. Bundles are shown 20 per page.

Things to watch out for

  • A bundle with no markets selected cannot be saved. You must pick at least one market.
  • For Quantity breaks for different products, the number of slot products must exactly equal the number of tiers. Adding or removing a tier without updating the slot products will cause a save error.
  • Only one tier per bundle can be marked "most popular". Marking more than one is not allowed.
  • An inactive bundle does not appear on the storefront even within its start and end date window.
  • The end date must be strictly after the start date. Setting both to the same time is not allowed.
