Affiliate program

How does the affiliate referral program work and how do I earn 50% commission?

Find and share your Storeep referral link, understand how the 50% first-top-up commission is earned, track pending and completed referrals, and read your Affiliate page metrics.

Overview

Every Storeep store owner has a personal referral link. When someone signs up through your link and later adds funds to their wallet for the first time, you earn a commission worth 50% of that first deposit. Your earnings are tracked on the Affiliate page. That page is shown only to the store owner: it sits at the bottom of the left sidebar and is hidden from team members.

  1. Open Affiliate from the bottom of the left sidebar (the trophy icon).
  2. Scroll to the Referral link field at the bottom of the page. It holds your unique link, which carries a ref parameter set to your store ID.
  3. Click the copy icon at the end of the field to copy the link to your clipboard.

You can share this link anywhere: social media, email, your storefront, or direct messages. The field is read-only, so you cannot edit the link by hand.

How commissions are earned

  • When a visitor opens your link, Storeep stores a referrer cookie that lasts 1 day. The person must create their account within that day for the referral to attach to you. If they register later, no referral is recorded.
  • The referral is created at sign-up only. You cannot refer someone who already has a Storeep account.
  • The commission is paid on the referred person's first wallet top-up. The moment they add funds, you earn 50% of that deposit amount, recorded in USD against your store.
  • This is a one-time reward per referred store. Once their first top-up flips the referral to completed, later top-ups by the same person do not generate any further commission.

Referral statuses

Each person you refer has exactly one of two statuses:

  • Pending: they signed up through your link but have not yet added funds. No commission has been earned.
  • Completed: they have made their first top-up and your commission has been recorded.

Metrics on the Affiliate page

The page shows the figures below. The two monthly cards compare the current calendar month against the previous calendar month, using your dashboard time zone. A small up or down percentage badge appears next to a monthly figure only when there is a previous-month value to compare against (and the change is not zero).

This month

  • Referrals this month: new referrals of any status that joined through your link during the current calendar month.
  • Commissions this month: the total commission you earned this month, in USD.

All-time totals

  • Total referred users: everyone who has ever signed up through your link, any status.
  • Total commissions earned: the lifetime total of all commissions recorded for you, in USD.
  • Average commission per referral: total commissions earned divided by your number of completed referrals. Shows 0 when you have no completed referrals yet.

Referral breakdown

  • Completed referrals: referred users who have added funds and triggered a commission.
  • Pending referrals: referred users who signed up but have not yet added funds.
  • Conversion rate: the share of your total referrals that have completed, rounded to one decimal place. Shows 0 when you have no referrals yet.

Your earnings and payout

Your commissions are recorded against your store and shown on the Affiliate page as Total commissions earned. As the page states, the reward is yours to put toward your own store or to withdraw to your bank. To arrange how you receive a payout, reach out to Storeep through your usual support channel and reference your Affiliate totals.

Common questions

  • Why is my referral still pending? The person has signed up but has not added funds yet. The commission lands only on their first top-up.
  • I shared my link but no referral appeared. The referrer cookie lasts only 1 day, and the referral attaches at sign-up. If the person waited longer than a day, or already had an account, no referral is recorded.
  • Will I keep earning from the same person? No. The commission is a single 50% reward on their first deposit. Later top-ups do not pay again.
  • A low conversion rate with many pending referrals usually means your audience needs more context before they commit. Following up and helping them get set up can turn pending into completed.
