The Statistics page shows how your store performs over any time period. This article covers the traffic and audience panels: total views, devices, countries by visits, most viewed products, traffic sources, and the UTM source, medium, and campaign breakdowns. For orders, sales, conversion rate, and revenue, see the companion article Statistics: orders, sales, conversion rate, and revenue. You need the Statistics permission to open the page.
Filters and how counts are measured
Three controls at the top scope every panel: Market (limit to one of your configured market countries), Product (limit to sessions that viewed one product), and Date (Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week, This month, Last month, This year, Last year, or a Custom period). Choose your options and click Filter; the reset icon clears them. The default range is This month, weeks start on Sunday, and your last choice is remembered.
All traffic counts use visitor sessions. Sessions flagged as suspicious (bots and automated traffic) are excluded, so the numbers reflect real visitors. Data is stored in UTC and converted to your store timezone. Many panels show a percentage delta badge comparing the current period to the equal-length period before it: green up for an increase, red down for a decrease, and no badge when there is no prior data or no change.
Traffic panels
Total views
The number of visitor sessions on your store during the period, with suspicious sessions removed. The chart breaks this down at the active time resolution (hourly, daily, monthly, or yearly depending on the range length).
Devices
Session counts and percentages across four device types: Desktop, Mobile, Tablet, and Television. Only sessions with one of these recognized device types are included.
Countries: Most viewed
The top 10 countries by session count, highest first. Suspicious sessions are excluded.
Products: Most viewed
Up to 20 products ranked by how many sessions viewed their page, highest first. Each row links to the product on your live store and shows its view count. This panel is hidden while a product filter is active. Its empty state reads "There's no views yet."
Source and campaign panels
Traffic sources
The top 10 referrer domains by session count, highest first. A referrer is recorded when a visitor arrives from another website. You can also tag a link yourself by adding ?referer=example.com to your store URL in an ad or post, and that value will appear here. The panel includes a note explaining this parameter.
UTM sources
The top 10 utm_source values, ranked by the number of visits that arrived carrying that value. These are filled in when visitors reach your store through links that include a utm_source parameter, for example tagged ad campaigns.
UTM mediums
The top 10 utm_medium values, ranked by the number of visits carrying each value.
UTM campaigns
The top 10 utm_campaign values, ranked by the number of visits carrying each value.
To see which UTM source earned the most money rather than the most visits, use the UTM source revenue panel described in the companion sales article.
Filtering by a single product
To study traffic for one product, pick it from the Product filter and click Filter. You can also open its pre-filtered statistics from the product list using the statistics icon on the product's row. While a product is selected, the store-wide panels (Most viewed products here, plus New customers and Revenue by country in the sales article) are hidden, because those numbers only make sense for the whole store.
