The Reviews section shows your customers' reviews of the product on the product page or the landing page. It can also show the average rating and a button that lets shoppers write a review.
Add the section
In the builder, open the Product page or Landing page, click Add new section, and pick Reviews. You can add one per page. Only published reviews show. Approving and adding reviews is explained in How do I collect, approve, and manage product reviews?
Blocks
Blocks you add sit above the list of reviews. The review cards always come last.
- Text: up to 2, for a heading such as "What our customers say".
- Summary: the average rating, its stars, and the number of reviews. Show distribution adds a bar for each star level (5 to 1) with its count.
- Write review: a button that opens the review form. Set the form's Heading, the Button text, and Inherit scheme, or turn it off to pick a Button scheme.
- Review card: how each review looks. It is required. Each card shows the reviewer photo (or a placeholder), name, stars, text, and images. Use parent color scheme or pick another. Enable zoom lets shoppers open review images full screen, with Navigation icons and Icon background for its arrows.
- Divider (up to 2) and Group (up to 2). A group can hold text, dividers, the summary, and the Write review button, for example the summary on one side and the button on the other.
Section settings
Content
- Per page: 4, 8, or 12 reviews at first. A button under the list loads the next ones.
- Sortable: adds a sort menu for shoppers. Sort alignment places it left, center, or right.
- Default sort: Newest, Oldest, Highest, or Lowest rating first.
Layout
- Section width: Page or Full.
- Layout: Grid or Carousel.
- Columns: 1 to 6 cards per row on desktop (or cards in view for a carousel).
- Mobile columns (1 or 2) and Carousel on mobile, which turns the grid into a swipe row on phones.
- Navigation: for carousels, Navigation icons (Arrows, Chevrons, None) and Icon background (None, Circle, Square).
Also: Color scheme, Gap between cards, padding, and Custom CSS.
Good to know
- When a product has no reviews, a short message shows instead of the cards. Keep the Write review button so the first buyers can leave one.
- The sort menu hides itself while a product has fewer than 2 reviews.
- New reviews from customers wait for your approval, so they do not appear right away.
- Shoppers add their name, email, stars, and text, but no photos. Photos on reviews are added by you from the dashboard.
- The star rating near the product name comes from the same reviews. To move it above the name, use Show reviews above title in the Title block, see How do I set up the Product info section on my product page (images, title, description, sticky button)?
