Some sections usually appear on every page of your store: the Header, the Footer, and often an Announcement bar. This page gives a short overview and links to the full guide for each one.
Each page keeps its own copy
In the builder, every page has its own sections, so editing the header on the home page does not change it on the product page. When you are happy with one, open its menu and choose Apply to all pages. It copies the section onto every other page of the market that already has that section type. Pages without it are skipped, so add it there first. See Sections and blocks.
The header and the footer are not required sections, so take care not to delete them by mistake.
Header
The top bar with five fixed blocks: logo, menu, search, cart, and localization (country selector). It also controls the sticky behaviour on scroll and the transparent header over a hero. One per page. See How do I set up my store header (logo, menu, search, cart, sticky and transparent header)?.
Announcement bar
A thin strip for short messages, with up to 7 messages that rotate one at a time or scroll in a line. Up to 2 per page. See How do I add an announcement bar with rotating or scrolling messages?.
Footer
The bottom section, built from blocks: about us with contact info, menu, social media icons, payment icons, privacy links, copyright, text, dividers, and groups to make columns. One per page. See How do I set up my store footer (about us, menu, social icons, payment icons, policy links, copyright)?.
Other sections often used on every page
- Social media icons: links to your profiles, in the page or fixed on the side of the screen. See How do I add social media icons to my store (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp)?.
- Newsletter: an email signup form, inline or as a corner popup. See How do I add a newsletter signup form to my store?.
- Back to top: a floating arrow button that takes shoppers back up. See How do I add a back to top button to my store?.
Columns and side by side layouts in these sections are made with groups, see How do I use Group blocks to place content side by side or in columns?.
