After an order, customers land on the Thanks page. Its main section, Order confirmation, shows what they ordered and their details. You can add your own message, buttons, and images. The section is required on this page.
Where to find it
Open the builder and choose Thanks page in the Pages tab. The preview fills it with a sample order. Each market has its own thanks page, so pick the market first if you sell in several countries.
Section settings: Section width, Color scheme, Gap between blocks, padding, and Custom CSS.
Blocks
- Order summary: the products bought with their variants, quantity, and price. Show image adds product pictures, with Image ratio and Image fit. Show totals adds the totals: subtotal, discount, shipping, and VAT rows only appear when they are not zero, and the total always shows.
- Order info: Order identifier (ID, Number, or None), Show date, Show payment method, Show shipping method, and Style (Grid or List).
- Customer info: the details the customer typed (name, phone, email, address, and so on). Empty fields are skipped. Style is Grid or List.
- Text (up to 4), Button (up to 2), Image (up to 2), Divider (up to 3), and Group (up to 2). Button settings are in Group, Text, Button, and Divider blocks: how do the layout component settings work?
Number shows your order count, so customers and competitors can guess how many orders you get. ID or None keeps it private.
Change the thank-you message
- Open the Thanks page and select Order confirmation.
- Click an existing Text block to change its words, or click Add new block and choose Text. Use Add block before on the first block to put your message at the top.
- Click Publish.
A Text block here can show the buyer's own details. Type {{first_name}}, {{customer_name}}, {{order_number}}, {{order_id}}, {{total}}, {{email}}, or {{phone}}. For example: "Thank you {{first_name}}, we will call you soon to confirm your order." Each customer sees their own values.
Common tasks
- Back to shopping: add a Button that links to your home page or a collection.
- Ask buyers to follow you: add a Text block and a Button to your social page.
- Shorter page: hide the Customer info block, or turn off Show totals.
Good to know
- The page only works right after an order. If someone opens it without an order, they are sent to your home page.
