The Newsletter section is an email signup form. Shoppers type their email and click the button, and they are added to your newsletter subscribers.
Add it
- Open the builder and go to the page you want.
- In the Sections tab, click Add new section and pick Newsletter in the Marketing group.
- Edit its text, input, and button blocks, then click Publish.
One newsletter per page, on any page. Signups appear in How do I view, search, export, and delete newsletter subscribers?. Signing up from the builder preview does not create a real subscriber, so test it on your live store.
Section settings
- Mode: Inline shows the form in the page like any other section. Fixed shows a small button in the bottom corner of the screen. Shoppers click it to open the form.
- Heading (Fixed only): the text on that corner button, for example "Get 10% off".
- Success message: the text shown after a shopper signs up. Preset sets its text style (Default, Paragraph, or Heading 1 to 6). If it is empty, the form simply stays on screen.
- Section width (Inline only): Page or Full.
- Color scheme, Padding, and the Custom CSS tab.
How Fixed mode behaves
- The button sits in the bottom left corner (bottom right for right-to-left languages).
- Shoppers can close the open form with the close button or the Escape key. Once closed, it stays hidden until they close the browser tab.
- After a signup, the success message shows, then the form closes by itself. It waits while the mouse is over it.
The blocks
- Text (up to 3): a title or a short line, like "Join our list for early offers". See How do I use the Text, Image, and Divider sections and blocks?.
- Input: the email field. Set its Label and Placeholder. Privacy phrase adds "By subscribing, you agree to our Privacy policy" under the field, with a link when your privacy policy is published.
- Button: Display is Arrow (an arrow icon) or Text (then type the button Text). Integrated button puts the button inside the email field.
- Divider (up to 2) and Group (up to 3, and groups inside groups): to arrange the blocks, for example text on the left and the form on the right. See How do I use Group blocks to place content side by side or in columns?.
Recipe: title on the left, form on the right
- Add a Group, set Direction to Horizontal, and turn on Stack vertically on mobile.
- Move a Text block into it, then a second group holding the Input and the Button.
- Turn on Integrated button for a compact field with the arrow inside.
Good to know
- Integrated button sits outside the field: the Input and the Button must be in the same group (or both directly in the section).
- Fixed form does not show again: you closed it in this tab. Open your store in a new tab.
