How does the AI Landing Page Generator work and what does it cost?

Generate multi-panel product landing page images with AI: pick images, Basic or Pro mode, aspect ratio, market, language, and mood. Learn the panels, per-panel wallet cost, regeneration, and import to product.

What the Landing Page Generator does

The Landing Page Generator is an AI app that turns one or more product images plus a short brief into a set of designed image panels. Each panel comes back as a high-quality image (saved as WebP) in the aspect ratio and language you choose.

Important: the panels are not merged into one file. Each panel is a standalone image. You download the ones you want and place them in your page yourself. A scrollable preview frame in the result view stacks the panels so you can see how the full page reads.

What each generation produces

A run can include up to six panels, in this order:

  • Hero: headline, product shot, and call to action. Rendered first, it sets the visual style every other panel matches.
  • Before and after: contrasts the problem with the outcome, reusing your product image on the "after" side.
  • Authority: star rating, review count, and trust badges.
  • Ingredients: three to five icon cards explaining what the product is made of or how it works.
  • FAQ: three to six question and answer cards.
  • Reviews: two to four testimonial cards. Pro mode only.

In Basic mode you always get the first five panels. Reviews is skipped there because the model would invent fake testimonials with no real source.

Installing and opening the app

Open Landing page generator under Apps and click Install (if the app carries an install price, it is charged from your wallet then). After installing, click Generate new landing page to open the form. Only the store owner and staff with the Apps permission can open the app or start a generation, because generations charge the wallet.

Filling out the generation form

  • Product images: up to 3 images from your media library (webp, jpeg, jpg, or png). At least one is required. The AI keeps your product pixel-identical and builds the page around it.
  • Product name: required, up to 50 characters. Used in headlines and copy.
  • Mode: Basic or Pro (covered below).
  • Aspect ratio: the shape of each panel image (applies per panel, not the whole page). Portrait (9:16), Square (1:1) the default, or Landscape (16:9).
  • Market: required. The target country, for copy cultural context. You can pick a country you do not sell in yet.
  • Language: required. The language all panel text is written in.
  • Mood: required tone. Options: Urgent / high-energy, Clinical / medical, Luxury / premium, Friendly / approachable, Scientific / data-driven, Playful / fun, Minimalist / clean.
  • Primary color and Accent color: optional 6-digit hex codes (for example #0000FF). Leave blank to let the model derive the palette. An invalid hex is flagged before the run.

Basic mode

Basic mode keeps the form short. The AI fills every section from your product image. One field, Additional notes (up to 500 characters), adds global guidance such as audience, brand voice, or things to avoid.

Pro mode

Pro mode reveals a Sections list with one card per panel, where you can drag to reorder panels, toggle a panel off (at least one must stay enabled, or you get an error), and add a per-section Custom instruction (up to 500 characters) that steers only that panel.

The Reviews card is present but off by default. If you enable it without pasting anything, the model invents plausible testimonials. To show genuine reviews, paste your real customer testimonials into the Reviews card's custom instruction.

What it costs and how your wallet is charged

You pay per panel from your store wallet (balance), not a flat fee. Before a run starts, the app checks your wallet can cover an upper-bound estimate of about 0.38 USD per panel (so a five-panel Basic run is pre-checked at about 1.88 USD). If your balance is below that, the run is blocked and the message tells you the cost, your balance, and how much to top up.

After the panels render, your wallet is charged the actual model cost, which is normally lower than the estimate. Only successful panels are billed; a failed panel costs nothing. Any shortfall over your balance is recorded as an amount due. The charged total is shown on the success screen when a run finishes.

Generation flow and failures

Click Generate and the form switches to a progress screen showing each panel's status. The work runs on the server, so you can close the window: the run keeps going and the finished page waits in the list when you return. A full run usually takes 30 seconds to 5 minutes, sometimes longer under load. If every panel fails, the run is marked failed and nothing is charged; use Try again to start fresh.

Only one generation (or panel regeneration) can run per store at a time. Submitting again while one is in flight just shows the current run's progress.

Viewing, regenerating, and importing

Completed landing pages are listed in the app, newest first, 40 per page (failed runs do not appear). Click any row to open it. In the result view you can:

  • Preview the stacked full page in a scrollable frame, and download any individual panel image.
  • Regenerate a single panel with an optional custom instruction. This re-runs just that panel (usually 10 to 20 seconds), leaves the rest untouched, and charges one more panel. Non-hero panels reuse the existing hero as a style anchor.
  • Import to product: opens product add pre-filled with this generation's name, hero image, and description.
  • Delete the landing page, individually or in bulk.

Edge cases worth knowing

  • Regenerating a panel needs the original uploaded images to still exist. If they were deleted, regeneration is blocked and you are told to start a new generation.
  • If the hero fails but other panels succeed, the run still completes and the list shows a placeholder thumbnail.
  • The Apps permission lets a teammate spend the wallet on generations, so assign it deliberately.
