What COD Services is for

COD Services is a cash on delivery (COD) fulfillment network in Lebanon. Its team confirms each order with the buyer and delivers it. With the app installed, every new order from your Lebanon market is sent to COD Services the moment the buyer checks out. Orders from other markets are never sent.

Connect COD Services

  1. Install COD Services from Apps and open it.
  2. Click Connect to COD Services. COD Services opens in a new tab. Log in to your COD Services account and approve the link to Storeep.
  3. COD Services sends you back to Storeep, where the app now shows its settings. Keep Activate on.

The app is listed only when your account phone number or one of your markets is in Lebanon. You can still reach it from the search at the top of the dashboard.

To stop sending orders, open the app and click Disconnect COD Services. The orders already sent keep their COD Services card, and you can connect again at any time.

Match your products (SKU)

COD Services knows your products from its My Products page. In Storeep, give each product, or each variant, the SKU it has in your COD Services My Products, and wait until COD Services has accepted the product. For a pack, use the pack's slug in COD Services. When one product of an order has no SKU, or a SKU COD Services has not accepted, the whole order is not sent.

Send an order by hand

Open any order from your Lebanon market and go to its Delivery tab. While the order has not been sent, the COD Services card has a Send to COD Services button. Use it to send an order again once you fix the reason it was not sent.

Follow an order

COD Services does not send updates to other apps, so your order statuses do not change by themselves. Each time you open an order, its COD Services card shows the order number at COD Services, the latest order status (for example "Confirmed" or "No answer") and the delivery status (for example "In transit" or "Delivered"), plus its tracking number. Change the order status in Storeep yourself when the order is delivered or returned.

When an order is not sent

Open the order: the COD Services card says why. Hover the tag to read the full reason.

  • SKU missing: some products have no SKU. Give each one the SKU it has in your COD Services My Products, then send the order.
  • Refused by COD Services: for example, SKUs that are not accepted in your My Products. Fix the reason, then send the order.
  • No answer: COD Services could not be reached. When the order never reached COD Services, Storeep tries again on its own a few times. When COD Services did not answer in time, the order may already be in your COD Services account, and Storeep has no way to look it up there, so check your account before you send the order again.

If COD Services no longer has an order, the order page notices the next time you open it and lets you send the order again.

What COD Services receives

  • The buyer's name, phone, address and city.
  • Each product's SKU, quantity and unit price.
  • A note with the Storeep order number, the buyer's note, and the amount to collect when it is not the products' total, for example because of shipping, a discount or an online payment.

COD Services works out the order total from the products, which is why the amount to collect is written in the note.
