Overview
Each store you create on Storeep gets its own subdomain, primary market, currency, language, and set of page templates. You can create additional stores at any time and switch between them from the account menu in the top-right corner.
How to create a store
- Open the account menu in the top-right corner and click All stores.
- Click Add new store.
- Fill in the form fields described below.
- Click Continue. You will be taken straight to the Dashboard of your new store.
Form fields
Store name
The internal and public-facing name of your store. It appears in the store switcher and on your storefront.
- Required.
- Maximum length: 50 characters.
- Tip: choose a name that is meaningful and appealing to your customers.
Store subdomain
The subdomain under storeep.com where your store will be reachable, for example myshop.storeep.com. You can connect your own custom domains later in Settings.
- Required.
- Minimum length: 5 characters; maximum length: 20 characters.
- Allowed characters: letters and numbers only (
a–z,0–9); no hyphens, underscores, or spaces. - The subdomain is converted to lowercase automatically.
- The names
storeandstoresare reserved and cannot be used. - The subdomain must be unique across the platform. If it is already taken, you will see an error and can try a different one.
Primary market
A market defines the country your store targets. Storeep uses the country you select to set your store's default currency, language, and initial policy content automatically.
- Required.
- Choose from the full list of countries. The dropdown pre-selects the country detected from your browser.
- Important: the primary market cannot be changed after the store is created. You can add additional markets later under Settings > Markets.
What happens after you click Continue
Storeep sets up your new store all at once. If anything goes wrong during setup, no partial data is saved: the process either completes fully or rolls back cleanly. Here is what gets created:
- Your new store with the name you provided.
- A verified subdomain so your store is immediately reachable.
- A market record with the resolved currency, currency symbol, and language.
- Default page templates (home, product, collection, cart, checkout, and others), pre-filled in your market's language.
- Default store settings covering typography, color schemes, checkout labels, and layout.
- Default policies (privacy, terms, shipping, and refund) written in your market's language, published and indexed by default.
Switching between stores
Once you have more than one store, open the account menu in the top-right corner. Your stores are listed there (up to 20). Click a store name to switch to it instantly. You can also click All stores to see the full list. See Managing multiple stores for more details.
