The Branding tab holds the images that make your store recognizable: the favicon and a background image for the whole store. Your logo is set in the header and footer sections.
Where to find it
Open the builder, click the gear icon, and open the Branding tab. It is the first tab of the Settings panel.
Favicon
The small icon displayed in the browser tab. Recommended size is 32x32 or 16x16 pixels. It also shows in bookmarks. Click Favicon to choose an image from your media library or upload a new one. PNG, JPEG, WEBP, and ICO files are accepted. A simple square image, such as the first letter of your brand, reads best at this small size.
Body image
An optional background image for the entire store pages. Under Body image, click Image to choose a PNG, JPEG, or WEBP file. Two settings appear once an image is chosen:
- Size: Cover fills the whole screen and may crop the image. Contain shows the whole image without cropping.
- Repeat: on, the image repeats like tiles and scrolls with the page. Off, it shows once and stays still while the page scrolls over it.
Each section paints its own background color from its color scheme on top of the image, so the image shows through only where a background color is transparent. The builder advises: Use a highly compressed image with the smallest possible file size to avoid slowing down page load times.
Logo
Your logo is not in the Branding tab. Set it in the Logo block of the Header section, with its position, width, and height. See Header section. The footer can show it too, see Footer section. If you have no logo image, your store name shows instead.
The header logo links to your home page. To make it a plain image, see Prohibitions settings.
Colors and fonts
- Colors are in the Colors tab. See Color schemes.
- Fonts and text weight are in the Fonts tab. See Fonts settings.
- Borders, shadows, and corner styles come from your theme. See Store themes.
