Your dashboard at a glance

What every number on your Dashboard means, how each figure is calculated, and what the low-stock and live-visitor panels show.

Overview

The Dashboard gives you a bird's-eye view of your store's performance for the current calendar month, compared to the previous calendar month. All dates and times are calculated in your store's configured time zone. The Dashboard is only visible to accounts that have the Statistics permission.

Reporting period

All performance cards cover the current month from its first day through to today. The comparison period is the full previous calendar month, so you can see whether things are trending up or down.

Performance cards: row 1

Total visitors this month

The number of real people who visited your store this month. Automated bot traffic is filtered out automatically, so the number reflects genuine visitors only. When any bots were excluded, a secondary line shows how many were filtered out, and because fewer bots is a good sign, a decrease in that bot count is highlighted in green.

Total orders this month

The number of orders placed in your store this month, not counting any orders you have deleted. When your store has an abandonment rate above zero, a secondary line shows what percentage of order attempts were abandoned, and a lower abandonment rate is highlighted in green.

Total revenue this month

The combined revenue from all orders placed this month. Because your store may accept multiple currencies, each order's value is first converted to USD using the published exchange rate for that currency, then displayed in your store's default currency. Orders in a currency that has no published exchange rate do not contribute to this total.

Conversion rate this month

The percentage of real visitors who placed an order, shown to two decimal places. If there are no visitors yet this month, this shows zero.

Performance cards: row 2

Average order value this month

Your total revenue divided by your total number of orders, displayed in your store's currency. Shows zero when there are no orders yet.

New customers this month

The number of new customer profiles created in your store during the current month.

Live visitors

The Visitors at the moment card shows how many people are actively browsing your store right now. The count updates in real time. A green pulsing indicator confirms the live feed is connected.

Top countries panel

Shows the top 5 countries that sent you the most real visitors this month, ranked by visit count. Each entry shows the country flag, country name, and visitor count. This panel only appears when at least one country has visitor data for the month.

Low stock alerts panel

Shows up to 5 product variants whose current stock has reached or dropped below the alert threshold you set for them, ordered from lowest stock first. Each row shows the remaining quantity and the product name. This panel only appears when at least one variant is running low. To set a stock alert threshold, edit the product variant, enable inventory tracking, and enter an alert level.

Month-over-month change badges

Every performance card that has a previous-month figure to compare shows a percentage-change badge: an upward arrow in green for an increase, a downward arrow in red for a decrease. The badge is hidden when there is no previous-month figure to compare against, or when nothing has changed.
