What Bank transfer does
The Bank transfer app shows your bank account details at checkout so a buyer can pay you with a manual transfer. After they pay, the buyer sends their payment receipt to the WhatsApp number you provide, and you confirm the order once the money arrives. It is a manual method, so these orders need your review before fulfilment. For card and wallet gateways, see the Online card payments article.
Installing and adding a bank
- Open Apps, find Bank transfer, and click Install.
- Click Add new bank to enter your first bank account.
- Fill in the fields below and save. Repeat Add new bank for each market you sell in.
One bank per market
Each bank entry is tied to a single one of your store's markets, and a market can hold only one bank account. If you try to add a second bank to a market that already has one, you get a message that the market already has a bank account. To serve several markets, add one entry per market. Each entry can be activated or deactivated on its own.

How a bank transfer order flows
- The buyer selects Bank transfer at checkout and sees your bank details for their market.
- They pay from their own bank and send the receipt to your WhatsApp number.
- You confirm the payment landed, then mark and fulfil the order.
Common questions
- Why does Bank transfer not show at checkout? The app must be installed, the bank entry's Activate toggle on, and a bank must exist for the buyer's market.
- Can different markets show different bank accounts? Yes. Buyers see the bank tied to their own market, so add one entry per market.
- What if I only need a domestic transfer? Fill in the required fields and leave IBAN, SWIFT / BIC, and beneficiary address blank. Add the routing code only if your local transfers need it.
