Storeep can be connected to an AI assistant you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. Once connected, you talk to your store from inside that app: ask how last week went, find the products that ran out of stock, move orders to shipped, or redesign a page. This is different from Building with the AI assistant, where Amed works inside the builder on the page you are looking at. A connected assistant works from its own app and reaches the whole store.
What you need
- An AI app that supports connectors. The connection is a standard one, so any assistant that can add a remote connector by address will work.
- A Storeep account with access to the store. You approve the connection while signed in, and it can never do more than you are allowed to do yourself.
- No plan requirement. Connecting works on every plan, including Starter.
- No key to copy. You do not create or paste a token. Approval happens on a Storeep page in your browser, and if anyone asks you to paste a Storeep token into a chat, do not.
The address to connect to
Every AI app asks for the same thing, an address:

Adding the connector
Menu names move between versions of these apps, so look for the wording rather than the exact path.
Claude
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Storeep, paste the address above, and add it.
- Click Connect on the new entry to start the sign-in.
Claude Code
Run this in your terminal, then /mcp inside Claude Code to sign in:

ChatGPT
- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose to add a connector and paste the address above.
- Complete the sign-in when it opens your browser.
Cursor
- Open Settings, then the MCP section.
- Add a new server of the HTTP type with the address above.
- Sign in when Cursor prompts you.
Approving the connection
The app sends you to a Storeep page titled Connect with the app's name. You decide three things there:
- Which stores. Every store you belong to is listed, and the one you were last working in is already ticked. Tick more to cover them with one connection.
- Which permissions. The app lists what it is asking for, each on its own line with a plain description, and everything it asked for starts ticked. Untick anything you would rather withhold. Entries that change your store carry a Can change your store tag.
- Ask me again before every change. This appears only when the app asked for a permission that changes something. Tick it and Storeep asks for a second confirmation before anything is saved. Safer, but slower.
Click Connect to finish, or Cancel to refuse. The page warns you plainly that the assistant will act on its own once connected, so grant only what you need. This screen is also the only place a connection can be widened or narrowed later, see Review or disconnect an AI assistant.
Limits
- 60 requests per minute per connection. Past that the assistant is asked to wait a minute and try again.
- 500 changes per store per day, on a rolling 24 hour window shared by every assistant connected to that store. Reading never counts against it, so no amount of questions can use it up.
- Sign-in renews itself. The connection refreshes quietly in the background and lasts 90 days without use before it asks you to approve again.
Rules and corner cases
- One connection can cover several stores. When it does, the assistant has to name which store it means on every single request, and it will ask you if it is not obvious.
- The name on the approval page comes from the app, not from Storeep. Any app can call itself anything, so if the name is not the one you were expecting, cancel and start again from inside the app you trust.
- Signing out of Storeep does not disconnect anything. Disconnect from Settings, MCP connections.
