What the Easy Affiliate app does
Easy Affiliate is a connector that links your Storeep store to your account on the Easy Affiliate network. Once you connect it, Storeep automatically forwards every eligible order to Easy Affiliate over their API, so your orders move straight into their fulfillment and affiliate tracking without any manual copy and paste.
The app is designed for cash on delivery (COD) markets. With each order, Storeep sends the buyer's name, phone, address, city, and country, plus every ordered product with its SKU, price, and quantity.
This is not the Storeep Affiliate program
Two similar sounding features are easy to mix up, so here is the difference. They are completely separate:
- Easy Affiliate app (this page): forwards your store's orders to the external Easy Affiliate network for fulfillment and tracking. It does not pay you anything.
- Storeep Affiliate (Affiliate): Storeep's own referral program. You share your referral link, and when a new merchant you invited tops up their balance, you earn 50% commission in your wallet.
This article covers only the Easy Affiliate app.
Before you start
- An active Easy Affiliate account, with your API key and API secret key ready.
- The apps permission on your Storeep account (store owners have it by default).
- A supported market. Right now you can forward orders from DR Congo and Tanzania.
- Matching SKUs. Each product's SKU in Storeep must match the same product's SKU on Easy Affiliate, otherwise that item cannot be matched on their side.
How to connect Easy Affiliate
- Open the Apps marketplace and find Easy Affiliate, or go straight to Easy Affiliate.
- Click Install.
- Open the app again to load its settings form, then fill in the fields below.
- Click Save.
Settings explained
- Activate: when this is on, Storeep automatically sends new orders to Easy Affiliate. Turn it off to pause forwarding without removing your keys.
- Shared product URL: shares the link of the product page each order came from, so Easy Affiliate can see the source of every order.
- Markets: choose which markets to forward orders from. You must select at least one market while the app is active. Only DR Congo and Tanzania can be selected today.
- API key: the key from your Easy Affiliate account, up to 64 letters and numbers.
- API secret key: the secret that pairs with your API key, up to 64 letters and numbers. It must be different from your API key.
Which orders are forwarded
Once the app is active and at least one market is selected, Storeep forwards orders for you automatically:
- New eligible orders are sent as soon as they come in.
- Only orders from your selected markets are sent. Orders from other countries are skipped.
- Only products that carry a SKU are included. An order with no SKUs at all is not sent.
- Abandoned orders are held back at first. They are forwarded once the order leaves the abandoned status and moves to any other status, either when you change it yourself in Orders or automatically through the Automator app.
Track how many orders were sent
Open the Easy Affiliate app at any time. The settings screen shows an Orders sent counter with the running total of orders successfully delivered to Easy Affiliate.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing is arriving in Easy Affiliate: confirm Activate is on, the order's country is one of your selected markets, and your API key and secret key are correct.
- Products are missing from a forwarded order: those items have no SKU, or the SKU does not match the product on Easy Affiliate. Add or correct the SKU on both sides.
- Save errors: Storeep checks your input before saving, so you may see messages such as "Please select at least one market", "The API key you have entered is incorrect", or "The secret API key you have entered is incorrect". Re-check the field named in the message, and remember that the API key and secret key cannot be the same value.
