A bundle shows a set of offer cards (tiers) on your product page, for example "1 item", "2 items, save 10%" and "3 items, save 15%". The buyer picks one card and the discount is taken off. The discount shows on the product page, in the cart and on the order. To open them, go to Products, click Sales tools, then Bundles. Bundles carry a Beta pill, so they may still change.
The four types
Click Add new bundle and choose a type.
- Quantity breaks: sell 2, 3 or more of the same product with a bigger discount on each tier. Keep a first tier of 1 with no discount for buyers who want a single item.
- Buy X, get Y free: each tier has a Buy quantity and a Free quantity, for example buy 1, get 1 free.
- Mix and match: pick at least 2 products in Products in the offer. Buyers pick a tier, then choose which of these products fill it. The bundle shows on each of these products.
- Complete the bundle: pick a Main product and the Products to add. Buyers get one of each with the main product. The bundle shows on the main product page, next to a This product only card.
Filling in the bundle
- Activate: a switched off bundle keeps its settings but shows nowhere.
- Name: only visible to you.
- Block title: shown above the tiers on the product page
- Discount name: shown next to the discount in the cart and on the order.
- Markets: the countries where the bundle runs.
- Start date and End date: leave the start empty to start right away, and the end empty to keep the bundle running.
- Discount type (not for Buy X, get Y free): Percentage or Fixed amount. A fixed amount is taken off the whole tier, in the currency of each market.
Which products show it
For Quantity breaks and Buy X, get Y free, choose Products: All products, Specific products, All products except some, or Products in collections. When several bundles fit one product, the one for specific products shows first, then the one for collections, then the newest.
Tiers
Click Add tier to add a card, up to 10. Each tier has a Quantity and a Discount (or the buy and free quantities). Tick Default on one tier to select it first. The Badge you type shows on the corner of its card, such as Most popular, and an empty one shows nothing. A Complete the bundle has a single Discount, taken off the total of the main product and the products to add.
Free gift is optional on each tier: one unit of the product you pick is added to the tier for free. A tier whose gift is not sold in the buyer's market is left out.
Variants and the cart
Quantity breaks and Buy X, get Y free have two more switches:
- Let buyers pick the variants of each item (on by default): for products with variants, every item of the tier gets its own size or color picker.
- Offer the next tier in the cart: when a buyer adds the product to the cart alone, the cart shows a button to switch to the next tier with its discount.
The bundles list
The list shows the Bundle name, Type, Markets and Status: Activated, Scheduled (the start date has not come), Ended (the end date has passed) or Deactivated. To delete bundles, tick them and choose Delete bundles.
Bundles and the Offers switch
The Offers switch on a product page is a different, older feature. A product that uses it keeps its own offers and shows no bundle. See quantity offers.
