A quantity offer lets customers choose a pack, for example "1 piece", "2 pieces", or "3 pieces", with a better price for the bigger packs. In Storeep you build this with variants on a physical product.
Step 1: create the offers as variant options
- Open the product from Products.
- In the Product information tab, click Add new variant.
- Name the group, for example "Offer", and keep the Text type (or use Image to show a picture of each pack).
- Add one option per pack: "1 piece", "2 pieces", "3 pieces".
Step 2: set each pack
Open each combination and fill in:
- Price: the full price of the pack, for example 100 for the 2-piece pack.
- Discounted price: optional, the price the customer pays for the pack. The saving shown to customers is the difference between the two.
- Offer quantity: how many units the pack contains, for example 2. This makes the order show 2 units, and it takes 2 units from your stock.
Step 3: turn on Offers
When the product has only one variant group, an Offers switch appears above the variants. Turn it on to show each option as a card with its name, its price, and the old price crossed out. The variant fields are then named as offers: Offer name, Offer value and Offers positioning. Two more toggles also appear:
- Display offers discount: shows a "Get ... discount" text with the amount saved.
- Display offers percent discount: shows the saving as a percent, for example "- 20%".
The badges only show on a pack that has a discounted price. A pack that is out of stock shows "Out of stock" and cannot be chosen. If you add a second variant group, the Offers switch disappears and the product shows normal variant choices.
How packs work with stock and limits
- Stock is counted in units. A 3-piece pack needs 3 units in stock.
- Minimum quantity per order and Maximum quantity per order count packs, not units. With a maximum of 3, a customer can take up to 3 packs.
- If the quantity selector is on, a customer can also buy several packs of the same offer.
Other ways to sell more per order
- A free gift with a product: the Gift setting in the product form.
- An extra product offered after the order: upsells.
