How do I set up Stripe, PayPal, CMI, Paystack, bank transfer, and cash on delivery?

Field-by-field setup for each Storeep payment gateway: bank transfer details per market, connecting Stripe and PayPal accounts with round-robin rotation, and entering CMI and Paystack keys.

Setting up each payment gateway

Each payment method in Storeep is an app you open from the Apps marketplace. This guide covers the fields inside every gateway. For how methods surface to buyers, see Payment methods overview. Every app has an Activate toggle that controls whether the method shows at checkout.

Cash on delivery

Cash on delivery has no fields to fill in. Open the app and turn on Activate. Once active it appears at checkout with no further setup, and buyers pay the rider in cash on arrival.

Bank transfer

Bank transfer keeps one bank account per market, so you can show different details to buyers in different markets. Open the app and click Add new bank. Each bank account has these fields:

  • Activate: when on, buyers in that market see these bank details at checkout and can send a payment receipt over WhatsApp.
  • Market (required): which of your markets this account serves. A market can hold only one bank account, so adding a second to the same market is rejected.
  • Bank name (required): up to 100 characters.
  • Bank country (required): chosen from the country list.
  • Beneficiary name (required): up to 100 characters.
  • Beneficiary address (optional): up to 255 characters.
  • Account number (required): letters and numbers only, up to 34 characters.
  • International Bank Account Number (IBAN) (optional): standard IBAN format (two-letter country code, two digits, then the account part). Spaces are removed automatically.
  • SWIFT / BIC Code (optional): up to 11 characters.
  • Routing code (optional): up to 20 characters, for a US routing number, UK sort code, Indian IFSC, and similar.
  • Account type (optional): Checking or Savings.
  • Whatsapp (required): full international format starting with + and the country code. This number is shown to buyers so they can send you payment proof.

Buyers transfer the amount manually and you confirm receipt before fulfilling the order.

PayPal

Open the PayPal app and click Add new PayPal account to connect an account by signing in to PayPal. You can connect more than one account. The Method setting controls which connected account receives a given order:

  • Use one chosen account always: every order goes to the account you select.
  • Round Robin: Based on number of use: move to the next account after a set Number of use (a count of up to two digits).
  • Round Robin: Based on certain amount: move to the next account once an account reaches a set Amount in USD.

Turn on Activate to show PayPal at checkout. It appears only after at least one account is connected.

Stripe

Stripe handles accounts and rotation the same way as PayPal. Click Add new Stripe account to connect by signing in to Stripe, then choose a Method: Use one chosen account always, Round Robin: Based on number of use, or Round Robin: Based on certain amount (Amount in USD). Stripe adds two extra toggles:

  • Apple Pay: shows an Apple Pay option to buyers on Apple devices. Enable Apple Pay in your Stripe account settings too.
  • Google Pay: shows a Google Pay option to buyers on Android devices. Enable Google Pay in your Stripe account settings too.

Turn on Activate to show Stripe at checkout. It appears only after at least one account is connected. To add several accounts at once, connect each from a different browser or IP so the sign-in does not conflict.

CMI

CMI is the card gateway for Morocco. Open the app, enter your Client ID and Store key from CMI (each up to 64 characters), turn on Activate, and save. CMI appears at checkout only when both the Client ID and the Store key are saved.

Paystack

Paystack is the card gateway for several African markets. Open the app, enter your Public key and Secret key from Paystack, turn on Activate, and save. Paystack also needs your store currency to be one it settles in: NGN, GHS, KES, ZAR, XOF, EGP, or USD. In any other currency it stays hidden at checkout.
