What Digylog is for
Digylog is a cash on delivery (COD) delivery company in Morocco. With the app installed, each order from your Morocco market becomes a Digylog parcel the moment you change its status to Confirmed. Orders from other markets are never sent.
Connect Digylog
- Install Digylog from Apps and open it.
- In your Digylog seller account, open Settings, then API, generate a token and allow its permissions. In the Connection tab, paste it into API token.
- In the General tab, keep Activate on, choose whether the buyer may open the parcel or try the product before paying, and pick what happens When an order is confirmed and where your products are.
- Click Save. Storeep checks the token with Digylog right away and tells you if it is wrong or missing a permission. The first save also picks your first Digylog store and delivery network, which you can change after it.
- In the Connection tab, click Send test parcel. Storeep creates one draft parcel in your Digylog account and deletes it straight away, so it shows there as deleted and is never collected.
When an order is confirmed
- Send it for delivery: Digylog collects the parcel and delivers it.
- Keep it as a draft in Digylog: the parcel waits in your Digylog account until you send it yourself.
- Send it to the Digylog call center: Digylog calls the buyer to confirm the order before delivering it.
Where are your products?
- At my place: Digylog picks up your parcels from you. Pick the Delivery network, the Digylog agency that collects them.
- In the Digylog warehouse: Digylog prepares your parcels from your stock. Pick the Fulfilment center that holds it. Each product's SKU in Storeep must be the same as its reference in Digylog. An order with a product that has no SKU is not sent.
If some of your products are at your place and others in the warehouse, save both a delivery network and a fulfilment center, so you can pick on each order. The Digylog store field picks which of your Digylog stores the parcels are filed under.
Send an order from the order page
You do not have to confirm an order first. Open any order from your Morocco market and go to its Delivery tab: the Digylog card is there as long as the app is installed. Check the city, pick where the parcel Ships from, then click Send to Digylog. An order that is not confirmed yet is confirmed automatically once the parcel is created.
Ships from starts on your choice in Where are your products?. A parcel from your place needs a Delivery network and one from the warehouse needs a Fulfilment center saved in the app. What you pick only applies to this parcel, and once it is sent the card shows where it left from.
You can send an order that is Abandoned, Pending, Not reached, Confirmed, Prepared or in one of your own statuses. Any other order, for example a Shipped, Delivered or Cancelled one, shows Not sent with its status, since only orders that have not left yet can be sent.
Delivery updates
When you save, Storeep gives Digylog the address to send delivery updates to, so there is nothing to copy. Digylog keeps one such address per account, so this replaces any webhook URL you set yourself in Digylog. The Connection tab says whether updates are on. If it says they are not on yet, click Save again a few minutes later.
Storeep then moves the order for you: picked up or on the way becomes Shipped, delivered becomes Delivered, no answer or postponed becomes Not reached, refused or a wrong number becomes Rejected and cancelled becomes Cancelled. An order never moves backwards, and an order you set to Done or Returned yourself is left alone.
How the Digylog city is found
Digylog needs one of its own cities for every parcel. Storeep finds it from the city and address your buyer typed, in French, Arabic or common spellings like "casa" or "mrakch". When the city had to be guessed, the order page shows a Guessed tag. Digylog does not let other apps change a parcel once it exists, so to change its city, edit the parcel in your Digylog account.
Print the label
On an order that has a parcel, click Print label in the Digylog section to download the label as a PDF. Only staff members who can manage orders see this button.
When an order is not sent
Open the order: the Digylog section says why and lets you fix it.
- City not found: pick the Digylog city and click Send to Digylog.
- Phone not accepted: Digylog only delivers to Moroccan numbers. Edit the phone, then send the order.
- No address: add an address, then send the order.
- Product not in warehouse: some products have no SKU. Give each one the reference it has in Digylog, then send the order.
- Refused by Digylog: hover the tag to read the reason Digylog gave, fix it, then send the order.
- No answer: Digylog did not reply in time, so the parcel may or may not exist. Look for the order in your Digylog account before you send it again.
Confirming the same order again never creates a second parcel. If you delete a parcel in Digylog, the order page notices the next time you open it and lets you send the order again.
What Digylog receives
- The buyer's name, phone, address and note.
- The amount to collect, which is the order total minus anything already paid online. The delivery fee is charged to you, so the buyer pays exactly that amount.
- Each product's name and quantity, and each product's SKU when Digylog prepares the parcel from your stock.
- As the order number, your order number followed by the name of the person who confirmed or sent the order, for example
1042-Salma Bennani. - Whether the buyer may open the parcel or try the product before paying, from Allow opening the parcel and Allow trying the product.
